As Clean Water Action’s Zero Emissions and Warehouse Organizer, I had the opportunity to organize an all-day Warehouse Convening on June 24th in Princeton, NJ.
For the past three years, Clean Water Action has played a leading role in assessing how groundwater sustainability plans submitted to the state of California are considering and protecting vulnerable communities dependent on groundwater as their source of drinking water. Key findings show that 63% of domestic users across the state are not protected by current sustainability plans.
We celebrate Juneteenth by honoring environmental leaders in the Black community, and we honor what it represents by grounding our campaigns in Environmental Justice principles and following the leadership of frontline communities of color.
